AAA wrestlers are making regular trips to the WWE Performance Center as they adjust to a new chapter for the promotion.

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. revealed that talent aim to train at the Orlando facility once a month, learning WWE’s style and how to perform for audiences watching around the world.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo, the former AAA Latin American Champion explained that the biggest adjustments include thinking beyond the fans inside the venue.

“Obviously, everything is a new era and a new time for all the wrestlers. Even for me, it’s different, how they move everything, because they try to teach us. We work for a venue, but we work for millions of people behind the TV or the different platforms. It is difficult, I need to say the truth. It is difficult, but not impossible,” he said.

WWE announced its acquisition of AAA during WrestleMania 41 weekend last year. Since then, talent from the Mexican promotion have appeared on WWE programming as the relationship between the companies continues to develop.

For Wagner, the training visits offer a chance to learn and raise the standard of their performances.

“We try to be part of this new journey. We try to go like one time per month to the PC and try to learn about the style, about how we need to increase our level for the shows.”
