Quavo is bringing some fresh music to WWE, with the hip-hop star set to play a special role at Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta.

WWE has announced that Quavo will open the show by performing an unreleased track from his upcoming album, QROMELIFE. The new album is expected to arrive on streaming platforms soon.

WWE confirmed the news on social media following an initial announcement from Complex.

“As first announced by @Complex, Hip-Hop Superstar @QuavoStuntin will open #SNME in his hometown of Atlanta, performing an UNRELEASED track off his upcoming album QROMELIFE, due out on all platforms soon!” WWE posted on X.

The appearance will be another crossover between Quavo and WWE, with the rapper being a lifelong wrestling fan and no stranger to the company.

Migos’ song “Straightenin” previously served as the official theme song for WWE Day 1, while Quavo was also spotted ringside alongside Lil Yachty at WWE Bad Blood.

Quavo returned to WWE television in January 2025 when he appeared on Monday Night RAW and joined Jey Uso for a memorable YEET celebration.

Interestingly, Quavo’s performance comes after WWE reportedly had different musical plans for Sunday Night’s Main Event.

Lil Yachty had initially been expected to perform a concert during the show. However, those plans were reportedly dropped following feedback to some of the celebrity segments featured during the previous Saturday Night’s Main Event.

That does not mean Lil Yachty will be missing the Atlanta event.

Instead, the rapper is preparing to step inside the WWE ring for a five-minute challenge against Baron Corbin.

The stipulation gives the unusual encounter some major championship implications. If Lil Yachty can survive the full five minutes against Corbin, Trick Williams will receive an opportunity at Corbin’s United States Championship later in the evening.

With Quavo performing new music and Lil Yachty preparing to compete, WWE is certainly bringing plenty of celebrity involvement to its latest major event in Atlanta.

WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, September 6.

The show begins at 8pm ET and 5pm PT. It will stream live on Peacock in the United States, while international viewers can watch through YouTube.
