MLW has dropped a fresh tease suggesting Tessa Blanchard could soon be making her way to the promotion.
Speculation surrounding Blanchard and MLW has been building in recent weeks, with MLW founder Court Bauer previously confirming that talks have taken place about potentially bringing the former TNA star into the company.
Those rumours were given another boost during this week’s episode of MLW Fusion, when a mysterious short vignette aired.
The video featured the image of a diamond alongside the words:
“Pressure Breaks Most
Others Are Made For It”
While Blanchard was not named during the vignette, the diamond imagery has led to further speculation that MLW could be preparing for her arrival.
The 31-year-old became a free agent after requesting and receiving her release from TNA Wrestling in June. Since leaving TNA, Blanchard has continued to compete regularly for CMLL.
Bauer recently spoke about MLW’s interest in Blanchard during an appearance on Who’s the Champ?, confirming that discussions were underway while praising her ability.
Bauer said:
“She’s been someone that has been in the mix since she became a free agent and people have been wondering about her in MLW. I can confirm. We are in talks with Tessa. That’s about all I can confirm at this point, but you know, she’s incredibly talented.”
There has been no official announcement confirming that Blanchard has signed with MLW, but with Bauer openly acknowledging talks and the promotion now airing a mysterious diamond-themed vignette, there are certainly plenty of reasons for fans to keep watching.
