WWE is back in Calgary tonight, and for Nattie, the company's return to the Saddledome carries a deeply personal significance.

Ahead of Sunday's WWE live event in her hometown, Nattie looked back on one of the most memorable nights in Hart family history, sharing a photograph from WWE In Your House: Canadian Stampede in July 1997.

The image was taken following the main event, which saw the Hart Foundation defeat Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Goldust and The Legion of Doom in a ten-man tag team match. Following the victory, members of the Hart family entered the ring to celebrate together in front of the Calgary crowd.

Among those joining the celebration was Nattie, who was just 15 years old at the time. More than 29 years later, she is returning to the same building as a WWE Superstar.

Reflecting on the significance of the occasion, Nattie wrote:

“This photo is from the very first time I ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. And it happened at the Saddledome in my hometown of Calgary. It was also the last time my family was all together in one ring, a moment I don’t think I fully understood the significance of at the time. Tonight, all these years later, I’ll step into that same ring in a place where it all started for myself and my entire family. I’m so grateful I get to do this all these years later. See you tonight, Calgary! ❤️🇨🇦”

Canadian Stampede remains particularly significant to the Hart family, with the pay-per-view taking place just months before the death of Brian Pillman and the events of the 1997 Survivor Series that ultimately led to Bret Hart's departure from WWE.

Tonight's Calgary event forms part of WWE's latest run through Canada. The company held a live event in London, Ontario on Thursday, August 20 before SmackDown took place in Toronto the following evening. WWE then travelled to Edmonton for Saturday's live event.

Following Calgary, WWE heads to Ottawa on Monday, August 24, where Raw will air live and an episode of SmackDown will also be taped.

For Nattie, however, Sunday's stop is much more than another date on the WWE calendar. It represents a return to the building where her own WWE story began alongside the Hart family nearly three decades ago.
