Tonight’s WWE SmackDown comes live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a WWE Championship showdown set to headline a packed card.

CM Punk will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against hometown star Kevin Owens in the night’s main event. Owens will have the Toronto crowd firmly behind him as he looks to dethrone Punk and capture WWE’s top prize.

Another championship match will see MFT, accompanied by wrestling legend Haku, defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against the unlikely pairing of R-Truth and Damian Priest.

The show will also feature the main roster in-ring debut of Blake Monroe. She faces a significant first test on SmackDown when she goes one-on-one with Giulia.

Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are both advertised to appear. Their appearances come as WWE continues building towards their scheduled encounter at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.
