Bronson Reed could be closing in on his WWE comeback following several months on the sidelines with an injury.
Reed suffered a distal biceps tear during the February 23, 2026 edition of WWE RAW, with WWE subsequently announcing that the powerhouse would be out of action "indefinitely." His absence has kept him away from WWE television throughout the spring and summer, but there now appears to be encouraging news regarding his recovery.
According to PWInsider.com, Reed is "very close" to being medically cleared for a return to the ring. The report states that some within WWE believe he could potentially be back as early as next month, with Sunday Night's Main Event in Atlanta mentioned as one possible date for his comeback.
WWE also appears to have significant creative plans waiting for Reed once he is ready to compete again.
WrestleVotes Radio reports that Reed is expected to be positioned as a "key main event-level heel" following his return. The company reportedly intends to continue the momentum Reed had been building before his injury and further establish him toward the top of the card.
One particularly interesting possibility involves Oba Femi. A future program between Reed and Femi has reportedly been discussed for later in 2026, although there is currently no confirmation that WWE has finalized plans for the rivalry.
With Reed potentially only weeks away from returning, his comeback could quickly add another major powerhouse to WWE's main event picture.
