Mansoor Reveals Maximum Male Models Was Vince McMahon’s Final WWE Creative Idea

Former WWE star Mansoor has revealed that Maximum Male Models may hold a unique place in WWE history, claiming the group was the final creative idea Vince McMahon introduced before stepping away from the company in 2022.

Speaking with Sportskeeda, Mansoor looked back on the unusual beginnings of Maximum Male Models and explained that McMahon had much bigger plans for the fashion-focused act, including taking their runway segments beyond WWE television and onto live events.

“So it’s so interesting with the Maximum Male Models because we were Vince’s last idea, before he left the company. So we debuted and we were supposed to do those fashion show segments for weeks,” Mansoor said.

The concept even made its way to WWE house shows, although Mansoor admitted he was never entirely sure what McMahon ultimately had in mind for the group.

“Actually it’s a funny story, Vince had us go to house shows and do fashion show segments and I was like ‘Oh cool’ and then maybe somebody will come out and kick our b*tt, like toss us around. Nope, we would do our fashion show segments and leave and the crowds would be like ‘Huh? That’s it?’. Like it’s just two guys in shorts doing this (poses), this and this. I had no clue what was going on there but I don’t know what the end goal was. Vince then left and Hunter took over.”

Maximum Male Models officially arrived on WWE television in 2022, with Mansoor and Mace repackaged as fashion models under the guidance of Max Dupri, the character portrayed by LA Knight. Maxxine Dupri later became part of the act.

The group underwent significant changes following McMahon's departure and Triple H taking control of WWE creative. LA Knight eventually returned to his previous persona, while Maxxine moved on from Maximum Male Models and became aligned with Alpha Academy.

Mansoor and Mace subsequently disappeared from regular WWE programming before both were released in September 2023.
