UFC veteran Michael Chandler has reportedly made a visit to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, potentially adding another development to his well-documented interest in stepping into the professional wrestling world.

According to False Finish, Chandler was spotted at WWE’s training facility on Monday. Exactly what brought the former Bellator Lightweight Champion to the Performance Center has not been confirmed.

At this stage, there is also no indication that Chandler has signed a WWE contract or has officially started training for a professional wrestling career. His reported appearance at the facility, however, is likely to fuel further speculation given his previous public comments about wanting to explore WWE.

Chandler Has Been Open About WWE Ambitions
A possible move into professional wrestling is something Chandler has discussed on several occasions.

During an October 2025 appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, Chandler spoke about the possibility of continuing his career in another form of combat entertainment once his time as an MMA fighter comes to an end.

“God created me for hand-to-hand combat, whether it’s on the wrestling mats or maybe one day in a WWE ring after fighting. Becoming a pro wrestler definitely intrigues me.”

Chandler also made it clear that he understands his accomplishments in MMA would not automatically guarantee success inside WWE.

“I’d have to go in there, prove my worth, and make them believe I could do it , enjoy it, handle the travel, the lifestyle of being a WWE Superstar.”

There have previously been indications that WWE is at least aware of Chandler’s interest.

At Fanatics Fest in June 2025, Chandler revealed that he had spoken with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H about potentially working together at some point.

“We’re trying to make that happen… He knows I want that door to be open and I think he wants that door to be open too.”

WWE fans have already seen a glimpse of Chandler's personality on company programming. He appeared in the crowd during the February 19, 2024 edition of WWE RAW before being given a microphone and entering the ring.

Chandler used the opportunity to deliver an energetic promo challenging longtime UFC rival Conor McGregor, with his performance subsequently earning praise from WWE star Seth Rollins.

The reported Performance Center sighting also arrives during a challenging period of Chandler's MMA career. His latest appearance saw him suffer a first-round TKO defeat against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC Freedom 250, extending his losing run to four consecutive fights.

There is currently nothing official to suggest Chandler is preparing to swap the Octagon for WWE on a permanent basis. Nevertheless, considering his previous conversations with Triple H, his public enthusiasm for professional wrestling and now his reported presence at WWE's Orlando facility, the possibility will undoubtedly remain a talking point.
