WWE is set to make history in Ireland in early 2027, with Monday Night Raw officially heading to Dublin for the first time.

Irish sports outlet Off The Ball had been teasing a “massive” WWE announcement involving Becky Lynch and Finn Balor, prompting plenty of speculation that Ireland could be in line to host a future Premium Live Event.

While a PLE was not the announcement, Lynch and Balor revealed on Friday that WWE Raw will make its Irish debut at Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday, January 25, 2027.

The historic show will be broadcast live on Netflix, giving Irish fans the opportunity to experience WWE’s flagship Monday night programme in person for the first time.

Lynch, one of Ireland’s biggest wrestling exports, expressed her excitement over WWE bringing Raw to her home country.

“Huge,” Lynch said about the news. “I love it. I’m very excited. First time ever, Raw’s going to be in 3Arena live on Netflix. It’s amazing.”

Balor was equally enthusiastic and stressed that fans should not view a Raw television taping as being any less significant than one of WWE’s major PLE events.

“I have to say, we’re coming here with Raw. And for me, Raw is as important as a PLE,” Balor added. “Every Monday is just as important as every PLE. The scale of the show is the exact same, it’s all the same production levels. It’s all the same, obviously, storylines. There’s no corners cut.”

The announcement marks another major step in WWE’s growing presence in Ireland.

Dublin’s 3Arena hosted Ireland’s first-ever episode of SmackDown in August 2025, and Raw will now follow less than two years later. WWE’s international broadcasting arrangement with Netflix also means Raw can air live around the world regardless of where the programme originates.

The January 25 show will take place during an important stretch of WWE's calendar as the company builds towards the 2027 Royal Rumble.

WWE has already confirmed that Royal Rumble 2027 will be staged at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, during February. An exact date for the event has yet to be announced.

With Lynch and Balor helping unveil the Dublin date, attention will naturally turn to whether WWE has something special planned for its Irish stars when Raw arrives at the 3Arena.
