Booker T, a WWE NXT broadcaster, expressed disapproval of Corey Gravesā recent Twitter outburst regarding commentary changes. During his āHall of Fameā podcast, Booker discussed several topics, including Graves' tweet, the future of WWE's Ethan Page, and NXT talent.
On Graves' WWE tweet, Booker T stated: āI just think itās so pivotal these days to , man, like you said. āSay it, forget it, write it, regret it.ā Yeah, something like that, yeah. And thatās the thing, man. These days, everybody wants to put their lives on Twitter with their followers and everybody to be a part of their lives. I donāt know, I donāt get that part right there. For me, Iām so glad Iām so disconnected from that stage of life. I donāt know if you wake up in the morning with a tweet to the world saying, āHello, Worldā..ā
When asked if he and Graves are on good terms, Booker responded: āNo, weāre not cool at all. No, I didnāt like the tweet⦠Iām sure perhaps there will come a time when I might say it, I might voice it. Sometimes you know, my thing is, it wasnāt my business. He wasnāt talking to me. So therefore thatās out of my pay grade. You know, I mean, so let the bosses handle that stuff.ā
He also commented on NXT talent, noting: āCharlie Dempsey, heās still got a ways to go. Josh Briggs, he still has a ways to go. These guys are a work in progress, theyāre like on-the-job training. Ethan Page is a veteran. He has all the tools to break out and go to the main roster and do something, but you wouldnāt want to get lost in the shuffle on the main roster, also. So, I think him being at NXT is a great thing. Heās almost like a player-coach in a lot of ways. He fits in perfectly at NXT as well.ā
