CM Punk, who hasn't appeared at a wrestling event since his AEW All In stint in September, has made an unexpected appearance at the most recent IMPACT Wrestling TV taping in Chicago. Previously, Punk was embroiled in a backstage confrontation with Jack Perry, leading to his dismissal from AEW.
Interestingly, CM Punk was seen at the newest IMPACT Wrestling tapings. Although the Bound For Glory event took place in the city, Punk chose to attend the Chicago Blackhawks' season opener against the Vegas Golden Knights instead.
As reported by Haus of Wrestling, Punk showed up just before the taping commenced and mingled in the locker room. He was open to conversations and engaged with "key IMPACT talent."
A potential reason for Punk's presence might be his close friendship with Ace Steel, who was recently hired as a producer for IMPACT Wrestling. However, given Steel's new responsibilities, he had limited time to interact with Punk at the event.
