In April, WWE confirmed its acquisition by The Endeavor Group, paving the way for a fusion of WWE and UFC into a new publicly traded entity called TKO Group Holdings.
Endeavor will possess ownership of both WWE and UFC, yet each will operate independently. Vince McMahon will oversee the wrestling division, while Triple H will serve as the chief of creative operations.
Job cuts are anticipated as Endeavor's existing departments can take over functions currently managed by certain WWE departments.
Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics revealed in a tweet earlier today that WWE CEO Nick Khan has informed the WWE staff that the union between WWE and UFC under TKO Group Holdings will be finalized on the upcoming Tuesday, September 12th.
