WWE Royal Rumble could be heading back to the Alamodome in San Antonio.

A report from Fightful Select reveals the Alamodome in San Antonio is the front runner to host the annual event.

The company held the 2017 Royal Rumble event there and going back to the Attitude Era the 1997 event was also held there.

WWE has not made any official announcements concerning this, although it ties into a recent report from Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio who noted that WWE had plans to run more dome shows,

Seattle and New Orleans had also both expressed interest in hosting the event.
