Shota Umino Returns To NJPW
Posted By: Guy Incognito on Apr 17, 2022Shota Umino has returned to New Japan Pro Wrestling, accepting the Jay Open Challenge at Windy City Riot.
Umino had not competed for NJPW since 2019, when he participated in the Young Lion Cup. This predated his stint in Revolution Pro Wrestling in England.
Jay White was victorious in his open challenge, finishing off Umino with the Bladerunner.
Jon Moxley appeared in the pre-match video to announce Shota as the challenger for White.
