The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that former ECW, WCW, TNA & WWE star James "The Sandman" Fullington was arrested last night in Yonkers, NY at the La Lanterna restaurant for throwing glasses at employees.

When officers arrived at the scene, Fullington began throwing glasses at them and two officers suffered cuts on their hands and arms as a result. They were able to calm him down and he was charged with second degree assault, a felony, third degree criminal mischief (also a felony), second degree reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.

Fullington was taken to jail for psychiatric evaluation. Eye witnesses have stated that police pulled guns on him during the incident, which was reportedly said to be a birthday party for Louis Albano (yes, the Captain). Fullington was described as bleeding badly as the owner of the restaurant tried to subdue him by throwing a beer bottle that hit Fullington in the face.
