WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura is injured.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion last wrestled a month ago against Damian Priest on the Survivor Series kickoff show before a  tag team match on the December 10 episode of WWE SmackDown another tag match during the December 18 WWE Live event in Rockford, Illinois.

Nakamura scheduled title defense against Sami Zayn at the Day 1 PPV event earlier this month was nixed with no reason given by WWE.

In an interview on Ryan Satin's Out of Character, Rick Boogs revealed Nakamura isn’t currently medically cleared to wrestle right now due to an injury.
