Wrestling Inc and Fightul are both reporting that Shane McMahon is no longer involved with WWE and his future in pro wrestling remains unclear.

Shane has rarely been seen at WWE offices over the last few months and a report from Wrestling Inc mentions that he does not have a WWE contract, although the company insists that he is "still a WWE talent and under a deal."

McMahon left WWE back in 2009 and returned back in 2016 where he remained a talent and not part of the company management. At the time of his original departure, it was believed he left due to a falling out with his Father, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

It was announced recently that Shane McMahon is the new executive chairman for Ideanomics, a financial technology company.
