During this week's episode of IMPACT On AXS TV, a new championship match was made official for the upcoming Victory Road pay-per-view.

After successfully defending his title against Jake Crist in an X-Division Championship open challenge match on the show, Josh Alexander was confronted by Chris Sabin and challenged to match at the PPV which takes place on September 18, 2021 at the IMPACT Zone at Skyway Studios in Nashville, TN.

Sabin is a former 8-time X Division Champion.
