Jim Ross has been a staple of AEW commentary since the company launched in 2019 but in a report from Ringside News, they reveal the legendary broadcaster is set to move away from the announce table on a full-time basis.

The report notes that Ross will be around for big matches and major events, but will be stepping back from weekly television in order to focus on doing other things in the company.

He is expected to host more backstage segments and sit-down interviews, something that was apparently his decision.
