The Icon Sting has reacted to his longtime rival and friend Ric Flair departing WWE.

Sting and Flair's rivalry goes back many decades to the days of Jim Crockett Promotions. Sting won his very first NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship from Flair at The Great American Bash in 1990

Sting posted a GIF of him and Flair in the ring during one of the classic bouts with a caption that read, “WOOOO!!!”

Many are now hoping AEW will bring Flair in to reunite with Sting.
