IMPACT Wrestling is reportedly trying to sign recently released WWE Superstar Chelsea Green to a contract.

Dave Meltzer revealed the news in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting Green is in contractual talks with the promotion, but a deal has yet to be agreed on.

Meltzer said, "they were in contract talks with Chelsea Green this past week but as best we know no deal was closed at press time"

Green was released WWE in April 2021 due to budget cuts. She becomes a free agent in the middle of July, days prior to the company's big Slammiversary pay-per-view.
