How Many Viewers Watched Shaquille O’Neal's AEW Debut Match?

We reported yesterday that Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite was watched by an average of 934,000 viewers on TNT.

Today, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer is reporting that the Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill vs. Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet which opened the show, drew 1,113,000 viewers.

The match saw an increase in viewers mostly over 50, and the numbers dropped back down to normal levels after the match. It was the only quarter-hour during the 2-hour broadcast to draw over a million and by the 7th quarter-hour, viewership had fallen to 836,000 viewers.
