One of the several sexual assault lawsuits being filed by Joey Ryan against his accusers has been dismissed, and is set to change venues.

PWInsider is reporting that Joey Ryan's lawsuit against ROH star Pelle Primeau has been dismissed by the US District Court in the Central District of California. The lawsuit in question was filed for defamation after Primeau posted to social media as part of the #SpeakingOut movement.

Primeau's lawyer successfully argued that the lawsuit was filed in the wrong venue, as Primeau is a native of Pennsylvania and not California.

The lawsuit has been transferred to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania US District Court as of January 5th, but there’s been no further action on it yet.
