AEW Reportedly Has Plans For Sting To Wrestle A Match

There are reportedly plans for Sting to have a match in AEW, according to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. There have been no details regarding the match revealed, but Barrasso did note that cinematic matches and tag team matches are a possibility.

Sting had his last match at WWE Night of Champions 2015 when he suffered a neck injury following a bucklebomb from Seth Rollins. He retired in 2016.

Sting is set to speak on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite so it will be interesting to see if a match is teased.
