WWE has reportedly signed Alex Zayne to a developmental contract, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer.

Zayne made his final independent appearance for GCW's So Much Fun last weekend.

Zayne will likely join the next class at the WWE Performance Center signees that will also feature Ben Carter, who appeared on AEW Dark. He has worked for a number of promotions including NJPW, PWG, and ROH.

Zayne has been on WWE's radar for a while and is considered one of the top names on the independent scene.
