We reported previously that independent wrestling promotion EVOLVE was not planning on ever holding any more events and was looking to sell everything to WWE.

In an update, Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that EVOLVE is indeed done as a promotion, and the video library is believed to be sold to WWE along with other assets.

Gabe Sapolsky reportedly told key talent of the EVOLVE brand that he had no plans to run events going forward.
