Dave Meltzer revealed on Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast that producers from Dark Side of the Ring did reach out and formally ask WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart to appear on the season two finale about the passing of his brother Owen Hart.

Bret reportedly no-sold the offer and he never got back to them.

The episode did feature interviews with Owen's wife, Martha Hart, and his Son and Daughter.
