Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown, we saw two advancements in the WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

We found out earlier this week that Sami Zayn was stripped of the title, thus leaving it vacant.

Tonight's first qualifying match was between Elias and King Corbin, where we see Elias pick up the win via pinfall.

The second and final qualifying match of the night was between friends and partners, Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan secured his spot in the next round after submitting Gulak.
