The Ultimate Warrior was never far from controversy during his pro-wrestling career, many that worked with him would say you either liked him or you didn't, there wasn't a middle ground.
On the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross discussed Warrior and his dealings with the late WWE Hall Of Famer. Ross said, "I think he was a giant pain in the ass from day oneā he discussed The Ultimate Warriorās massive ego and how he was not highly skilled in the ring.
"He had a massive ego, knowing that he was not highly skilled, knowing that his #1 selling point was his physique and his charisma that largely was created through music and lights and pyro and things of that nature."
Ross also felt Warrior wasn't a good person in his opinion and witnessed him use offensive language in front of women.
"He wasnāt a good person in my view, thatās my opinion. I thought that he used extremely coarse and abusive language in front of women of all ages. I thought that was ridiculous, I seen it with my own eyes."
In closing, Ross said, āIām sad that he passed, Iām glad that he got his moment in the sun before he died, I really am, for his fansā sake and for his family.ā
