SmackDown Tag Team Ladder Match Changed to Singles Triple Threat, Will Still Be For The Titles

The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at this weekend's WrestleMania 36 Pay Per View, will now be a singles, triple threat encounter.

As announced by WWE, the match will now see Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston battle Champion John Morrison, who will still be defending both Tag Titles in the ladder match.

This news comes after reports that Morrison's tag-partner The Miz was reportedly feeling ill at the company's Performance Center, and the WWE did not want to risk a possible Covid-19 infection.

WWE WrestleMania 36 will take place this weekend, at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and for the first-time ever, will feature no audience, due to the ongoing battle with the Coronavirus.
