Cincinnati Arena Refuses To Host AEW Event

Fightful Select is reporting that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) tried to book an event at the former U.S. Bank Arena, now known as the Heritage Bank Center but the arena didn't want anything to do with the promotion.

It was noted that the reason for their refusal is due to their existing relationship with WWE.

Jon Moxley is reportedly the one pushing AEW officials to run a show in the Cincinnati area as he prefers that side of the country for events.

Arena blocking was commonplace during the Attitude Era with WWE not allowing WCW to run some of their bigger arenas. It will be interesting to see if this is one-off for AEW.
