On last night's episode of RAW, fans saw Matt Hardy come to the ring to confront Randy Orton about his attack on Edge.

Hardy talked about his history with Edge, then demanded Orton give an explanation for his attack on the Rated R Superstar. Instead of giving an explanation, Orton delivered a brutal attack on Hardy.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the segment was WWE's way of writing Hardy off television.

Hardy's contract with WWE is set to expire soon, and the star hasn't signed a new deal. To add further fuel to the rumors that he's leaving WWE, Hardy posted a tweet featuring the segment along with the word "Goodbye."
