WWE has reportedly given up on owning EC3’s name and dropped the trademark application. 

PWInsider reports that the company "abandoned" the trademark on January 25th and they did not respond to a notice about an initial refusal from July 24th last year. 

The trademark was originally blocked because EC3 already registered it himself in April, 2019. WWE can attempt to open the application again if they wish.

EC3 last wrestled on the September 30, 2019 episode of WWE Main Event, teaming with Eric Young and lost to Lucha House Party. He has been out of in-ring action with a reported concussion.
