AEW appears to have written Awesome Kong off television on this week's episode of Dark on YouTube. She was attacked by Mel with the help of Luther.

Kong is reportedly taking some time away from AEW to focus on filming for the fourth season of Netflix's GLOW. Kong plays "The Welfare Queen" on the show.
