In an update on Shane McMahon's WWE status, Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Shane McMahon is not officially working with the company as a producer or an agent.

Shane was backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and did help book the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match but he has no official role and is not normally backstage these days.

Meltzer noted that Chris Park (Abyss), Jamie Noble, and Lance Storm were the producers of the match that also had input from Brock Lesnar and Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman

McMahon was last on television where he lost a “Loser Leaves WWE” Ladder Match to Kevin Owens back in October.
