The WWE Raw announcing team is set to undergo another change with news that Vic Joseph has been removed from the commentary booth.

Joseph was noticeably absent from last night's Royal Rumble pay-per-view with Tom Phillips standing in alongside Jerry Lawler to provide commentary duties for Raw.

WrestleVotes is reporting that Tom Phillips will be replacing Vic Jospeh although there is no word on why Joseph was pulled so suddenly, but likely a decision made by Vince McMahon. 

Vic Joseph and Dio Madden were two names put forward by Paul Heyman to be given a trial on the broadcasting table following the WWE Draft. Jerry Lawler was added to help support them both men and had been praised for his support.

Back in December Madden was removed from Raw commentary with the news that he wanted to go back to being a wrestler.
