WWE Talent Accused Of Spreading False AEW Rumor

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that himself and Fumi Saito were a part of a professional wrestling documentary, in which WWE personnel were also interviewed.

Meltzer revealed that he blocked the director after he was asked if it was true that All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan purchased all the tickets for AEW’s first-day sold-out events in order to make it look like the product was hot.

Meltzer noted the story is false and started by someone in WWE who spread it around the company.
