WWE 2K20 crashes after being unable to play in 2020

Posted By: Thomas Lowson on Jan 01, 2020

WWE's latest video game 'WWE 2K20' has received it's latest piece of bad press after several players found they were unable to use the game in this new year.

The Video Games Chronicle reported that attempts to use the game after midnight resulted in the game crashing, and the only solution is for players to reset their system, whether it be PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC, back to 2019.

Twitter user TheShiningDown said that once the issue is resolved, the system date can be reset back to the correct date.

2K's official support Twitter account also said they were aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

This is the latest issue with the game, which received severe backlash from fans and reviewers upon launch, due to a series of technical glitches.

WWE 2K20 is the latest installment of the 2K series which began in 2014, and the first entry in the series to be developed entirely by Visual Concepts.
