WWE NXT: Results Of NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match

On tonight’s edition of WWE NXT, the NXT Cruiserweight Championship was on the line, as Angel Garza challenged Lio Rush for the title.

In the end, Garza would become the brand new champion, causing Rush to lose the match via submission following a match that lasted approximately 20 minutes in length.

It was also noted by NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo that Garza has now become the first Mexican to hold the title.

It was later revealed that following the match, Garza proposed to his girlfriend in the middle of the ring, which was accepted. The proposal was not shown as part of the live broadcast, but footage was recorded and shown later on.
