Vince McMahon Reportedly Changed Monday's WWE Raw Main Event Finish

A report from the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that Vince McMahon reportedly changed the ending of the main event on Monday's WWE Raw.

The report notes that McMahon changed the original plan, which would have seen Randy Orton team up with Humberto Carrillo and Ricochet against The O.C., to put Mysterio in Orton’s spot.

The original finish would have seen Mysterio helping the babyfaces win, but a change was made because McMahon wanted Orton to hit the RKO. In addition, McMahon felt that Styles needed to be coming off a pin for that to work.

In the end, Ricochet took the pinfall because McMahon didn’t want Mysterio to take the loss.
