Earlier this week, WWE star Sin Cara announced on Twitter that he was asking for his release from the company. Sin Cara is just one of may WWE wrestlers who’ve expressed frustration with the company and asked for their release. 

With AEW now being their competition, WWE was afraid of granting wrestlers their releases because they believe the stars would sign with AEW. But according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may grant releases, at least to stars they feel wouldn’t jump ship to AEW.
