WWE Made Big Creative Change Heading Into Survivor Series Pay-Per-View

The WWE Universal Championship match at Survivor Series is set to see Bray Wyatt defend against Daniel Bryan, with their feud kicking off on last Friday's SmackDown. However, this wasn't the original plan heading into the big event.

WWE had reportedly planned for Daniel Bryan to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Title and be part of the three-way match against United States Champion AJ Styles and Roderick Strong, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Meltzer also notes that Bray Wyatt was originally planned to face The Miz at the PPV.

WWE Survivor Series takes place on Sunday, November 24 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL.
