WrestlingNewsSource.com has today launched a new and updated website theme which is the first phase of our community expansion. The updated theme introduces a number of new features that we hope you'll find useful and enhance your overall experience when using WNS. Please also take a look at our About WNS and Community Methodology pages.
Over the last few years, one of our most requested features by our readers is that we become more visually appealing. The new theme retains familiar elements of the previous one but is also is enhanced by the introduction of report images to the homepage on both desktop and mobile.
In addition, you'll notice the background of the website is much more transparent displaying brand logos more prominently. We'll update these with the changing landscape of professional wrestling.
In the next few days, you'll start to notice a new feature that blurs report images and descriptions on desktop on mobile for articles that contain major spoilers, such as title changes and TV taping results. This feature is very much reliant on reporters using keywords to ensure the "blur" happens, so bear with us as we adapt to a new way of presenting news reports.
We're relaunching our IRC chatroom for weekly wrestling televisions shows and PPV's and in addition, we're launching our own Instant Messenger (XMPP) which you can use on the desktop or mobile WNS! This can be set up and enabled on our new customization editor.
Customization is at the heart of our new theme and we've updated our editor to reflect this. You'll be able to customize the whole site to suit your visual needs on both desktop and mobile.
If you want to change the site or link colors, or turn off article images on the homepage, you can do it here in our all-new customization editor, click here to have a play.
Remember to scroll down and click "Email My Settings" to save your customization.
