WWE SmackDown Viewership Returns This Week

Friday's WWE SmackDown on FOX was watched by an average of 2.543 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily.

The number is up considerably on last week's abysmal 888,000 viewers with the blue brand having to move to FS1 due to the World Series.

This week's SmackDown was totally rewritten due to the Saudi Arabia talent travel issues and heavily featured NXT stars and the NXT Champion Adam Cole defending his title in the main event against Daniel Bryan.

SmackDown also drew a 0.8 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic, this was #1 for the night.
