Tonight's SmackDown was full of so many surprise appearances by NXT Superstars, due to the fact that many of the main roster's talent are still in Saudi Arabia awaiting a flight home.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was the announcement of Daniel Bryan facing off against NXT Champion Adam Cole, with his title on the line.

Bryan and Cole and squared off in the main event of the evening. It was definitely a "Dream Match" scenario.

In the end, Cole picked up the pinfall and retained his title. Adam Cole was then joined in the ring by his fellow Undisputed Era brethren, as well as a portion of the NXT roster alongside Triple H and Shawn Michaels, for a post-match celebration.
