On tonight’s edition of WWE NXT, it was announced by interviewer Cathy Kelley that the team captains for the first-ever Women’s WarGames Match at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: WarGames event will be Rhea Ripley and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.

Kelley cited the news via a report from CBS Sports, though it was not stated who would make up both teams.

As previously reported, the match was announced by NXT General Manager William Regal earlier in the broadcast following a brawl that took place involving Ripley, Baszler, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Bianca Belair, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Candice LeRae, and Io Shirai.
