AEW Dynamite on TNT opened with a tag match featuring Private Party and the Lucha Bros. The match was the first of two semi-finals of the tag team tournament set to air from Pittsburgh.

Lucha Bros won the match after Pentagon delivered a Stomping Package Piledriver. 

During the broadcast, SCU also advanced.

The Lucha Bros vs SCU will take place in Charleston, West Virginia to determine the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions.
