During last night's WWE Draft, R-Truth and Carmella were drafted to separate brands. Truth will be heading to Monday night's while Carmella will be seen weekly on SmackDown on FOX.

Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason for the split is because the WWE 24/7 is a USA Network idea and they introduced it to help with viewership during the third hour of the broadcast, although it has since ceased to have anything to do with the third hour it is still their idea and that was the main thinking behind Truth's move.

In addition, Carmella is dating SmackDown commentator Corey Graves in real life and during the WWE Draft the company was careful not to split up real-life relationships and thus Carmella followed Graves to SmackDown.

So these two factors alone were the reason Truth and Carmella are no more.
