On this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, Chad Gable was announced as “Shorty Gable” while making his entrance, and his new name was reflected in and new and updated graphic on his entrance video.

WWE fans haven't taken to well to the name change and criticized it on social media as being disrespectful to Gable which they feel will ultimately undermine his talent.

Vince McMahon is however reported to be very high on Gable's work and is supportive of his latest push.
