WWE Mae Young Classic Not Returning After All?

WWE Mae Young Classic Not Returning After All?

The WWE Mae Young Classic may not be returning this year, despite the company announcing the tournament earlier this week.

On Saturday, the WWE informed the media of the return of the tournament, claiming that the show will start on Saturday November 2, at Full Sail University.

According to a report from Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, a WWE rep he contacted said the e-mail was posted in error, though that does not rule out entirely that the all-female tournament won't be returning.

The Mae Young Classic, named after the legendary Hall of Famer, was won by Japan's Kairi Sane in 2017, and Australia's Toni Storm the following year.
